What is excess baggage shipping?

Excess baggage are the small items of personal effects that travel in the lower deck of an aircraft, such as the suitcases we take with us on holiday. You may not know it - but the majority of the worlds commercial air cargo travels in the same aircraft that we all jet away on. Airlines will sell space on the flights and by carefully monitoring market conditions and buying in bulk we can offer clients the exact same space the the airlines themselves are selling at a far lower rate than they would charge atthe passenger checkin desk. If it's under 30Kgs, can be held in one person's outstretched arms and does not contain any items which would be confiscated at the airport security gates then it's excess baggage. The only requirement is that the goods are packaged - boxes, bags, suitcases and crates aer all accepted.

How long does excess baggage shipping take?
